Bye 2012, Hello 2013!!!

I cannot believe that tomorrow is the last day of the year. 2012 is almost over, a year, 12 months, 365 days. So much has happened. Thank you 2012 for some bad times, some great times and amazing memories.
So it’s New Year’s Eve tomorrow. On the first of January when I hear and see the firework in the air, I’ll leave 2012 behind and I’ll make a new start, New year, new chances. Im ready to let go of  2012 and move on to 2013.

I hope all of you had a great 2012. What I want to tell to everyone: forget 2012, it’s gone. There’s a new year, have faith, everything’s going to be alright. Don’t look back, look at the things that are happening now, don’t look further, you can’t see what will happen in the future. Don’t regret what you’ve done this year. Everything happens for a reason.
We have 2013 to improve ourselves, to make things better. and the most important thing is being happy.
Another year to make our wishes come true.
Another year to inspire.
Another year to strive.
Another year to feel loved.
Another year to laugh and smile.
Another year to enjoy the little moments in life
Another year to live. Embrace life.
I believe that this will be a big year to opportunities and to reach the high places in our lives. Start 2013 positively!!! Happy New Year!!!

On the way to 2013.....  2013 is a new beginning.....

Miss Universe 2012, Olivia Culpo

Olivia Culpo was crowned Miss Universe 2012 on December 19, 2012
in Las Vegas, USA. And Olivia Culpo become the eighth beauty of the United States winning the tittle.
Olivia from Cranston, Rhode Island. She is 20 years old and stands 5’7″. On June 3, 2012, Olivia Culpo was crowned Miss USA 2012 at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 20-year-old cellist of Cranston, Rhode Island became the first titleholder from her state to capture the crown.
At the age of five, Olivia decided to compete for the title of Miss Rhode Island USA on a whim. With determination and a passion for performing on stage, Olivia captured her state title in a $20 “Rent The Runway” dress that was too short and had a tear in the back. Her road to the crown continued in Las Vegas where she wowed the judges in a purple Sherri Hill dress and a poised response to the twitter question regarding transgender contestants.
Both of Olivia’s parents began their professional lives as musicians and raised her in a musically rich surrounding. She began studying the cello in the second grade and from there participated in the Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, RI Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble, Bay View Orchestra and Rhode Island All-State Orchestra. Olivia also won a seat in the Boston Symphony Hall, Boston; Carnegie Hall, New York City; and a tour of England in 2010. Until recently, Olivia was performing with the Boston Accompanietta.

Olivia, who has called herself a “cellist nerd,” graduated with high honors and a member of the National Honor Society in 2010 from St. Mary Academy Bay View. Throughout high school, Olivia’s love for Italian language gave her the opportunity to take part in two foreign language programs in Milano, Italy. As a sophomore at Boston University, she has been placed on the Dean’s List every semester. Olivia will place her education on hold while performing her duties as Miss USA for the next year.

Miss Universe 2012

Miss Universe is an annual international beauty contest that is run by the Miss Universe Organization. The contest was founded in 1952 by California clothing company Pacific Mills. In 1998, the logo of Miss Universe – "the woman with stars" – was born, representing the beauty and responsibility of women around the Universe.

Contestants in the pageant cannot have been married or have children.
They must be younger than 27 and older than 18 by February 1 of the competition year.

Contestants from 89 countries on six continents took part in the two-hour competition, held at the Planet Hollywood casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
They spent the past two weeks in Sin City, where they posed in hardhats at a hotel groundbreaking, took a painting lesson, and pranked hotel guests by hiding in their rooms.

Time

If there is one thing that we as a culture squander more than our resources and money, it is our time. This time is free, but it is priceless. You can`t own it, but you can use it. You can`t keep it, but you can spend it. If not now, when? Once you have lost it you can never get it back.
